Rest Times

The Tennessee Department of Human Services’ regulations stipulate that a child must receive a minimum of a 1-hour rest period. Children will observe rest time following lunch every day. Children are encouraged to sleep or lie quietly on their individual mats, which are provided by the Center. If possible, please try to schedule your child’s arrival or departure either before or after rest time.
